Local records show that the Pavelot family have lived and owned land in Pernand since the 1600s.
Numerous generations later it is the brother & sister team of Luc & Lise Pavelot who took over from their father in the early 90s after having both gained experience working in California and Pouilly-Fumé respectively. They soon set about converting the 8.5 hectare domaine to organic viticulture, certification being granted in 2009.
