Seventh generation of the Monnier family, and son of the mayor of Meursault, Nicolas Monnier manages the 15 hectare domaine stretching from Beaune down to Puligny.

Since taking over, Nicolas has worked to reduce sulphur usage, improve temperature control prior to and during fermentation and built an impressive new storage cellar.

The results are extremely promising from this rapidly improving domaine.
