Domaine Jouard

A family domaine since 1820, brothers Vincent and François took over twenty years ago and have progressively been bottling their own wines from the 12 hectare estate ever since, rather than selling in bulk to the négoce.

This is great news, since this relatively undiscovered domaine is a source of powerful, though balanced wines produced in many instances from old vines planted between the 1930's and 1950's.
